The parabola cutting saw prevents the sinking around the manhole associated with traditional straight cutting methods. Square manhole cut create stress fractures that radiate from the corner The Parabola Manhole Saw leave a circular pattern reducing the chance of fractures.
The SPC-1500 manhole cutter uses unique saucer shaped blades. Blades are available in 14" and 18" diameter for cutting concrete or asphalt. Special order blades are available with a 6-8 week lead time from Japan.
The 4 step cutting process is now just one step with the MK SPC-1500 manhole circular cutting saw. Drill a hole at the center of your circle, extend the telescoping arm and drop in a drive pin. The SPC-1500 manhole cutter will pivot around the pin as you push the saw in a circle.
