Round Point Shovels

HISCO’s Hollow Back Round Point Blades are stamped from a single piece of steel with forward turned steps for secure and comfortable foot placement. Handles are attached with a single rivet. Fiberglass and Renegade models feature a reinforcing metal collar at the neck.

Ideal for light to moderate industrial and construction applications, these lighter heads are more economical than solid shank blades making hollow back tools our most popular models.

HISCO’s Closed Back Blades are stamped from a single piece of steel and the hollow back, known as the “frog”, is welded closed with a steel plate to reduce soil build-up and add strength. Blades have forward turned steps for secure and comfortable foot placement. Handles are attached with a single rivet and feature a reinforcing metal collar at neck.

Solid Shank Premium Blades are forged from a single bar of steel, the solid neck and blade of these tools are extremely durable. Fiberglass handles are attached with a rivet and reinforcing metal collar for increased strength. Non-shouldered Ash handles with these blades feature double rivets.
