Paver Saws
Paver saws are designed to specifically cut pavers. These can be either 14" dry cutting saws or 10" saws similar to a tile saw with the addition of a pivoting head that can be used for plunge cutting. Depending on the size of the pavers you are going to cut you may be able to get away with a 10" Tile Saw. With this option you lose the ability to plunge cut, but you can save a lot of money and additionally get larger cutting capacities. If electric service is an issue on your jobsite, tile saws generally draw lower amps than masonry saws. Dry cutting masonry saws are very dusty, however, no more so that gas powered demolition saws and dust collection systems are available. If the cut does not need to be perfectly smooth consider a paver splitter, manual splitters will give a rougher cut, but they are faster, more portable and cheaper.
